PTCL doesn't allow copper line to fibre line upgrade without changing phone number but PTCL is now giving free second connection without any line rent to existing PTCL customers. This scheme was introduced to help those customers who are facing DSL issues on first phone line. They can keep their existing phone number while ordering a new fibre line connection which comes with zero line rent and without any connection order charges.
