Use Google Services on Mobile for Free (coming soon)

If you know about Facebook Zero, they provide free Facebook browsing on mobile phones with several partnered networks around the world. Users open Facebook site with mobile internet but aren't charged.

Similarly, Google is also testing a service called Google Freezone. Users will be able to use Google search, Gmail, Google+ with mobile browser without paying data charges.

Currently Google Freezone is being tested in Philippines but later Google will partner with other providers of different countries to provide free services through mobile browsers.

Trying to Stop MNP Scam by Filtering SMS: Cannot Mention 76300 in SMS in Pakistan

Mobile connection dealers and Mobilink franchisee were involved in porting customers mobile numbers without their permission to get credit and earning from company.

They were sending SMS to random people like

Dear customer you have won prize, kindly send MNP to 667, then forward received SMS to 76300 and (their mobile number).

Several retailers used this method to port other mobile connections to Mobilink network and thousands were ported by this method. They get reward and free balance once a MNP is successful. Mobilink doesn't ask them to do this.

Now Warid and Telenor customers can enjoy Gmail SMS

Warid and Telenor Pakistan customers can receive free SMS from Gmail. Ufone, Mobilink are already giving this service with Gmail.
Gmail gives about 50 SMS credit for SMS sending to several networks in the world. Whenever your friends reply to your SMS on Gmail, you get 5 extra credit for free. More replies more credit. If you run out of Gmail SMS credit, Gmail will automatically give you some credit after 24 hours.

• Gmail SMS doesn’t work for MNP in or out customers
• Gmail to mobile SMS sending is free but mobile to Gmail SMS sending have charges about 1Rs to 2Rs
