Slow Internet Problem Will Be Fixed Before Friday

Telecom Egypt CEO have said that slow internet problem will be fixed before Friday.

• According to reports, the SMW4 maritime cable was cut around 750 meters north of Alexandria, which slowed internet service in Egypt and other countries including Pakistan.

• Other reason from different sources that a massive and relatively new form of cyber attack aimed at a anti-spam company is interrupting services and causing traffic slowdowns particularly in Europe.

• Three men have been arrested by the Egyptian army for apparently trying to cut through an undersea Internet cable. A patrol stopped a fishing boat near the Mediterranean port city of Alexandria and arrested three divers, an Egypt army spokesman said on his official Facebook page.
