Why PTA is Blocking non Porn Websites too? [answer]

Few weeks ago Pakistan telecommunication authority (PTA) ordered all Internet service providers to ban porn sites in Pakistan.

Sites have been blocked to keep the youth safe.

But now some people can be seen complaining that PTA have blocked non porns sites too.
I visited those sites about which people were complaining.

What I found in those non porn sites was that they are having several vulgar words.

For example in an American dictionary site there were more than 40 very shameful vulgar words on their every page as part of recent dictionary searches widget. Of course it was not a porn site, but seems like our Internet service providers are filtering sites by checking for those who contain vulgar words.



I am not against it, but that website owner must remove such words from his site to keep the web for everyone.

It is for the good of human, for the safety of your children and for your safety.

Porns cause health problems and crimes such as rapes/sex etc, forbidden in Islam, Christianity and other religions.

You must contact those site owners asking them to make their site a clean good community, or send an email to PTA/your ISP for that site unblock request.
